How To Play
Here’s how it works: A bunch of people help me raise money to create a gorgeous full-color commissioned piece. (Here’s what the last one looked like. The response to it has been incredible!) Everyone who donates the minimum gets awesome stuff as a thank-you. The more you donate, the more cool shit and concept input you get.
Donations are processed using PayPal (but you can send us money other ways, too). If for some reason we don’t hit our goal (Cthulhu forbid) we will refund your money. This won’t be necessary. Trust us. (O_~)
We’ll be updating this page regularly as we receive donations, so feel free to obsessively hit “reload”!
The moment we hit our deadline, I get my input and start working. I post progress photos of the work as I go, every day or two with a new picture or blog entry or both. This is going to be even cooler now that I’m a full-time illustrator and master of my own fate. You will really get constant updates this time, and the whole project won’t take longer than a few weeks once I get started. I am really excited!
I won’t be able to take any more input after I start the piece, but anyone who donates after that will still get awesome stuff! The internet gets to watch me work, and the awesome donors get a nice print or postcard of the result along with a stash of fabulous prizes.
Fantastic Prize List
Donate $10+ to get a postcard-sized Commission Print and some Marty money.
Donate $25+ to get a signed 10 x 13 Commission Print, a postcard-sized Commission Print, and some Marty money! $25+ donations in the first 48 hours get drawing input (one adj. and one noun)!
Donate $45+ to get primo input into the drawing, a 12 x 16 Commission Print (signed and doodled), and credit/linkage on my site! One adjective and one noun. Includes heckling rights. (O_~) You’ll also get a postcard-sized Commission Print, a Free Additional Print of your choice (shipped at the same time), and some Marty money! (whew!)
Donate $60+ to get all the $45 prizes AND A HUG. That’s a $15 hug, only applicable if you live in (or visit) Austin. And it’s a GOOD HUG.

Shakin’ Things Up!
If we raise $700 instead of $400 by the three week deadline, I will DOUBLE THE PRIZE. That means I create TWO gorgeous full-color matched prints and each donor gets both parts. Plus if we hit the $700 mark: Everyone who otherwise would have gotten Marty $1 bills… will get Marty $7 bills. I’ll make them up just for this project, and you’ll have the first ones I print!

By contributing you’re helping me do what I love, and getting to challenge me to create crazy awesome art in the process! The great thing about the Community Commission is that there won’t be anything like it, and your donation will allow you to directly participate in something incredibly unique!
